Tea 4: Premium Organic-certified Traditional Lapsang Souchong Black Tea

Lapsang is distinct from all other types of tea because lapsang leaves are traditionally smoke-dried over pinewood fires, taking on a distinctive smoky flavour. However, this smoky flavor does not exist when the ancestors created the lapsang black tea. Legend claims the smoky flavor was made by accident.  During the late Qing Dynasty, an army unit passing through Xingcun (Star Village) camped in a tea factory filled with fresh leaves awaiting for processing. When the soldiers left and the workers could get back into the premises they realized the time was extremely limited to dry the leaves to arrive at the market in time. So they lit open fires of pine wood to hasten the drying. Not only did the tea reach the market in time, but the smoky pine flavor received great welcome.

Tea 5: Mingqian Golden Eyebrow Lapsang Souchong Black Tea

Golden Eyebrow Lapsang Souchong is called "Jin Jun Mei" in Chinese and itis made of tea bud tips.

An extremely strict picking standard is set for this tea. It must be picked before Tomb-sweeping Day from a rare and primitive species of wild tea which grows on mountains in the National Natural Conservation Area of Wuyi Mountain. This region has an attitude of 1500 to 1800 meters. A skilled female picker can only pluck about 2000 pieces of tea bud tips per day. However, for 500g golden eyebrow Lapsang black tea, it requires at least 58,000 pieces of tea buds to make 500g of finished product. In other words, this skilled tea picker must pluck at least 29 days in order to provide that 500g golden eyebrow black tea.

Tea 6: Imperial Organic-certified Keemum Mao Feng Black Tea

Keemun black tea is famous for its unique, strong Keemun flavor, which some would describe it as the floral honey fragrance or caramel aroma.

Tea 7: Premium Organic-certified Keemum Black Tea
