Our Fuding Silver Needle 2017 Spring Imperial White Tea is spring fresh. Silver needle white tea is a slightly oxidized tea. It is named after its needle shape and has a silver color that comes from the light oxidation and the conspicuous tea hair. This is the top grade of white tea because all of the teas are composed of plump tea buds. White tea originates from Fuding and Zhenghe cities in Fujian province and is from the Da Bai Hao tea bush variety. Its taste is very fresh with a floral aroma and a long-lasting sweetness. White tea is reputed to have anti-cancer health benefits and this quality seems to be confirmed by an increasing number of studies. In Chinese traditional medicine, white tea is commonly used as to cool your body heat and remove interior body toxins. All of our white tea is stored in the freezer so it can maintain maximum freshness before delivery to you.
