Product Description

This Menghai Dayi Brand 2003 Jia Ji Ripe Pu-erh Tea is a traditional and classic Menghai Jia Ji ripe tuo. "Jia Ji" literally means "premium tea." For a 100g Jia Ji ripe tuo, it is comparatively lightly fermented. Most of the maocha are grade 3 with some grade 4 leaves. The tea liquid is very smooth with a sweet aftertaste; it has a strong Menghai Cha Qi. At this age, the piling fermentation aroma has gone. More aged aromas are beginning to show. This tea is very infusable and can be brewed for at least 15 times. 

Important tips: for brewing ripe Pu-erh tea, the water temperature should be over 95°C.
