Product Description

The Menghai Dayi Brand 2009 Hong Yun Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake maintains the same recipe and máochá as the 2008 Hong Yun and is one of the premium-quality ripe pu-erh teas available from Menghai Tea Factory. Since the maocha used in this tea is from different areas and was processed using different fermentation times, the tea enjoys a rich, textured and pleasantly sticky round mouthfeel and the classical Menghai "cha qi." The 2009 Menghai Hong Yun was produced in limited in limited quantitiy and is good for immediate consumption or for investment and long term storage.

Important tip: for infusing ripe Pu-Erh tea, the water temperature should be over 205°F
