This Menghai Dayi Brand 2009 "Wei Zui Yan" Raw Pu-erh Tea is from the Menghai Tea Factory in Yunnan province, China. "Dayi" is their proprietary brand.

"Wei Zui Yan" recipe was first produced in the Menghai Tea Factory in 2006. This tea consists of specially selected máochá from the tea mountains around Lancang river; the maocha ranges from grades 4 through 6. This tea possesses a nice fresh and thick taste with good Chaqi. This special blend of raw tea máochá was created in the Menghai tea factory. The tea liquor produces a clear and high aroma plus a thick taste with long sweetness. This is a worthy young tea provided at a very competitive price.

Picking standard: One bud with two leaves

Shape: Tight, fat, plump

Dried tea color: dark yellowish green color

Aroma: high floral aroma
