Menghai Dayi Brand 2011 "Pu Zhi Wei" Ripe Pu-erh Tea is from the Menghai Tea Factory in Yunnan province, China. "Dayi" is their proprietary brand.
"Pu Zhi Wei" is a new recipe from Menghai Tea Factory in 2009 which focuses on the tea liquor. This is very high-grade Menghai maocha so the tea liquid has little bitterness or astringency and possesses a high and clear aroma. If you compare this tea to the popular Menghai 7572 recipe, its tea taste is comparatively light, but the aroma is better. This tea is an excellent selection for the Pu-erh beginner.
