An early Hai Lang production from spring 2002. Mengku area wild arbor (wild, but not ancient trees) raw material was compressed into these medium compression cakes. Looking at the cake you can see this is true single-estate tea that was hand-processed ("sha qing" and "shai qing"). The brewed liquor is a bright orange color and the flavor is nutty and full, but still young enough to have plenty of "cha qi". Stored in Hai Lang's Kunming warehouse since 2002. Very clean and nice semi-aged tea. 25 gram SAMPLES available.
