A classic recipe from Menghai, but the first production of 2007 (701). The highest grade material is always used for first batch productions and is highly sought after by collectors. Don't be confused this cake does not represent raw Pu-erh tea produced in 2007, rather it is a blend of premium Menghai area raw material from 2006. 7532 recipe is one of highest grade recipes used to compose raw tea cakes. The flavor is strong and pungent but that will mellow with age and develop more complex and subtle flavors. Whether drinking young or old this Pu-erh will surely delight. This is a classic and a must-have tea in any pu-erh collection.

I wouldnt normally drink or review sheng puerh this young as i tend to think they mostly taste too similar.
this however has a beautiful thick, almost syrupyness to it that is just absolutely sublime, reminds me of a Douji red YiWu 2005 cake i had recently.
As is its drinkable and enjoyable, in 10+ years time this cake will be exceptional.

This tea is light brown, and has a Yunnan bite along with a flavor that lasts past eight infusions. Quite flavorful, but its character will undoubtedly deepen with age. Absolutely a keeper.
