A classic blend from Menghai! This recipe is based on the classic 7592, but modified in 1985 and produced several years since. This cake uses larger leaves but blending in smaller more powerful ripened Pu-erh for a balanced taste.

My 1st Infusion resulted in a deep dark red wine color with an exquisitely smooth taste of a well aged ripe pu'erh with a wonderfully pleasing aroma typical of a fine "old vine" aged Zinfandel wine. This is an incredible bargain for the price. This is a great example of the famous Menghai factory which has a whole variety of excellent "blended" tea cakes!
