Purely first flush of spring wild arbor material - Only 3999 cakes in total!

This cakes was released at "The 3rd Yunnan International Pu-erh Tea Expo" in April of 2008.  It is composed entirely of first flush spring material from a natural tea garden on the Yong De Big Snow Mountain (Da Xue Shan) in the county of Yong De.

The Big Snow Mountain of Yong De should not be confused with "Big Snow Mountain" of the neighboring Mengku county.  Both mountains are high-altitude areas that in extreme weather conditions will get snowfall and both mountains have wild arbor Pu-erh trees growing in pristine conditions.  However, if you drink this side-by-side with Shuangjiang Mengku's ubiquitous "Big Snow Mountain" you will find some differences both in taste and appearance.  Each cake of this series is single-estate composition, not a blended recipe cake.
