This accessories is made from rare mottled bamboo. Mottled bamboo is not commonly grown or seen in the normal bamboo categories. It only grows in some areas and is famous for its unique, beautiful mottled bamboo peel look. Its name comes from the ancient Chinese tale that a queen cried for her beloved who was in the battle for his country.  Slowly, slowly, her tears dyed the bamboo, and left her tear marks on the bamboo peels.
