My entry into the world of gaiwans. I've been very pleased with this one, at $8 you can't go wrong. I think everyone should have one of these lying around, great multi-use tool for preparing and drinking tea.

Not a very good quality gaiwan. The walls are a bit thin, and the lid does not fit that well. However, for the price, it's a great buy for beginner tea drinkers who are just learning. It's also a good item for travel, or to use at the office, as one need not worry too much about breaking one.

I bought this as travel gaiwan and ended up using it almost everyday, since it's small enough for long sessions with durable puerhs and teas for which I have little left. A nice balance of elegance and durability at a wonderful price.

Great starter gaiwan... good value

This was my starter gaiwan. It is small and elegant. I'm pleased with it and would recommend it as a good place to start. I will probably try the Da Yi brand gaiwan, which is also available on this site, next, as it is slightly larger.
