  • Good stuff

    by Sean Franks – August 24, 2016

This is not a fancy tea, but for whatever reason, I love it. It's smoky, but not overpoweringly so. You won't find a lot of complexity in this tuo, but for a good everyday pu-erh, the Happy Tuo certainly fits the bill. To put things in perspective, each time I order it, I buy one to to drink immediately and several more for aging. My only knock is that, like most other Xiaguan and similar tuos, it's compressed ridiculously tight, so I usually end up with really small leaf fragments. Consequently, you really need to watch your steep times with this. Doesn't take much for it to be too bitter to drink!

  • Great tea -and- a great price!

    A worthwhile pu-ehr at a worthwhile price!
Light and clean tasting. I will be re-ordering.
