Our Yongde Ripe Pu-erh Tea 2007 Premium Mini Tuocha (5g Tuos in 175g Box) is a real treat for pu-erh lovers. It comes from the Yongde region of Yunnan province - a tea growing area famous for producing a sweet and soft tasting ripe pu-erh due to the tea growing environment and the fermentation process. At 5 grams per tuo, it is the perfect size to brew in a 120ml Gaiwan. You don't need to bother prying tea from a large cake or tuo.
This premium mini tuocha is good for long-term storage. The longer it is stored, the better the aroma and taste will be.
Important tips: for brewing ripe Pu-Erh tea, the water temperature should be over 95° C.
This mini tuocha is made from the small and broken leaves that occur during Pu-erh piling fermentation batch. We recommend brewing in a gaiwan and using a strainer to catch the small broken leaves.
Storage: We recommend storing all Pu-erh tea in a dry and cool environment free from any odors (for example, storing in the kitchen is not a good idea due to the odors from cooking). The best storage temperature is between 10-35° C; humidity should be maintained between 50-75 rh if possible.

Smooth, rich, earthy and affordable. What's not to like? Not the best they offer but exceptional at this price. Two infusions per tuos. Vendors note: more infusions are possible with additional infusion time.

Very similar to the 2008 v93 Tuocha in terms of flavor. very rich and mellow taste with hints of butter. Only criticism, being that these are made with small broken fragments, it can produce quite a bit of dust in the drink, even with a fine strainer. However, the pros of this tea outweigh the one con.
